Beginning again sounds grand until we are the ones who must do it. Often it looks like getting out of bed after a hard night, returning a call, or apologizing without trying to defend ourselves. These steps are small enough to miss and brave enough to matter.

Grace gives us permission to tell the truth about yesterday. It does not erase what happened or excuse the harm we may have caused. It gives us a way to make amends, learn, and keep moving without treating one moment as the whole story of our lives.

We can choose a next step that is possible today. It might be asking for help, keeping a boundary, or sitting with disappointment instead of rushing past it. Each choice makes a little more room for trust.

There is no perfect pace for beginning again. We can return to the path as often as we need. Hope is sometimes the simple act of taking that next step.
